Well, I actually do own this particular rockabilly collection, and I can assure you that you're in for a treat with this one. Like the title makes clear, you get a whopping 32 rockabilly tracks on this disc, all of which should be considered "rarities". This is vintage stuff, and the sound quality is surprisingly good given the age of the recordings. Not only that, but these songs flat-out rock! Some rockabilly collections tend to be a bit uneven, but not this one. From beginning to end, this is an upbeat, rockin' album that you'll want to play over and over again.

Kudos to Lost Gold Records for tracking down these rare and obscure songs, cleaning up the sound, and issuing this great compact disc series. It's probably not the kind of disc you'd give new rockabilly fans, but is a must-have for serious rockabilly aficionados.

I typically did not listen to rockabilly, but then my friend gave me this album. This album is full of great classic rockabilly songs that helped define the genre and help a young music listener learn about a past genre.

I've only recently just begun to appreciate this classic Rockabilly era music and I must say I was truly missing out !!! I really enjoy this style of music and this album is a great introduction to the genre. Some true gems on here.

i dont have this cd but all records on it are not unknown for me.

the cd is a great collection of good & rare rockabilly from the 50's.
