The Lost Highway cut is actually a Kurt Nilsen single, featuring Willie Nelson.
Nice version, but not pure Willie (and not the duet with Ray Price)
Rest of the sampler is so-so. Lyle Lovett's cut is the best of the rest.

A Hayes Carll song I don't own (and I have a pretty extensive collection), the new Lyle Lovett and a Robert Earl Keen song for free? Just get it now! They want your credit card but won't charge it. 'Course the Hayes song is my fave but the whole sampler is great. I like Bingham's voice - not familiar with him. Thanks Lost Highway and Amazon!

The title track by Willie Nelson is one of his best. Each one of the six songs is worth listening to -- I especially liked Waiting on the Stars to Fall (Hayes Carll) and Pantry (Lyle Lovett). Highly recommended, especially for road tunes.

I like it. Black Joe, Willie, Robert Earl Keen, Lyle Lovett, Ryan Bingham all for free. Can't go wrong.

It's OK. Definitely worth every penny. Even after over 50 years I still can't stand to hear Willie sing, although he is a great songwriter. The other songs were worth a listen but not overly memorable.

You have to download and install the Amazon downloader brefore you can DL the EP. Not Lost Highway's fault. The Lyle Lovett track is worth the trouble.

A great sampling of music. Each artist is a little different. Love that the sampler includes Willie Nelson, Lyle Lovett and Robert Earl Keen.

I hadn't heard Ryan Bingham before and I enjoyed his song and am interested in checking out more, so the sampler has done it's job. BTW, if you're wondering, it's Ray Price singing the duet with Willie--that's the problem with downloads, they have no liner notes. Everything else was OK (I was actually a little disappointed with the Lyle Lovett song), but probably won't drive me to buy any of the albums.

It was the first time I had tried the Amazon download thingy. It worked fine for me.
