About the Actor
In 2004, Joanna Skye was nominated for 2 Emmy Awards for On-Air Talent/Host for "Lost Legends of the West." It was not only her debut television show, but was also her first professional audition. She captured the producers attention on a homemade video with her natural on-camera presence and wearing a baseball hat. Joanna was working for a public relations firm for a year prior and was eager to move out from under the desk and into the unknown depths of caves and mines in search of hidden treasure. She has always had a love of history and exploration, and quickly found herself researching Wild West legends, writing and retelling crazy survival stories. Joanna was now able to combine her passion for travel and adventure with television. She found her niche with "Lost Legends." Joanna grew-up outside Philadelphia, PA and graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Communications. She currently resides in Los Angeles, CA.
