Beautiful!,

This review is from: The Lost Memoirs of Edgar Cayce: Life As a Seer (Paperback)
I have been reading about Edgar Cayce for years, but this is the only book that has allowed me a very personal view of the Sleeping Prophet. It allows deeper insights into the man himself, from his own point of view. The book documents the troubles he overcame to become one of the world's most loved prophets.

Edgar Cayce--the human being behind the psychic,
By A Customer
This review is from: The Lost Memoirs of Edgar Cayce: Life As a Seer (Paperback)
This is a wonderful autobiography pieced together from Cayce's own writing over the years. A. Robert Smith, who compiled and edited the material, has done an excellent job of assembling and organizing the diverse materials from the Cayce files. It is a book that should be read by everyone, especially those who have heard of Edgar Cayce but are unfamiliar with the man and his work. He gave thousands of psychic readings for others--but did not operate a psychic "hotline" and never charged anyone for a reading. His is a story of faith in action.

First Time Edgar Cayce Reader,

This review is from: The Lost Memoirs of Edgar Cayce: Life As a Seer (Paperback)
This book is extraordinary and superbly written. As a first time reader of the life of Edgar Cayce, I think I picked the right First Time book. It certainly helps me better understand the mystery behind the man, a simple man, I might add, not unlike any of the rest of us and who, I believe, was uncomfortable and uneasy with this very mysterious and inconceivable ability. For this reason, I advise other readers to be conservative about their purchases of books about Cayce. There are many people today no different at all than during Edgar's own lifetime: always seeking to profit from someone else's gifts rather than appreciating the man's torment and altruistic nature. He must have been a truly special individual to those who knew and loved him.
