A necessary antidote of passionate faith,
By Midwest Book Review (Oregon, WI USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Lost Passions of Jesus (Paperback)
The Lost Passions Of Jesus explores the emotions that Jesus displayed when He walked the earth and presents them as key elements of Christianity and a necessary defense against succumbing to an indifference toward the needs of men and women. Author Donald Milam describes the advances in technology as resulting in an increasing gap between the Church and those in need, partly through technology's diminishing the opportunities and necessities for directly relying on physical touching in the validation and healing of people today. Highly recommended reading for all Christians regardless of denominational affiliation or creed, The Lost Passions Of Jesus is a necessary antidote of passionate faith to the seductions of a cerebral religiosity.
