From the Author

The water is where it began. And the water is where it will end.

This is a story that has taken years to unfold, searching for the right words to capture the elusive magic bubbling to the surface. My boys became the inspiration for the Seager children, while my mother in law was the inspiration for Lady Em. Follow the dramatic tale of a little boy's grandmother, who was one of Neptune's elite warriors and guardian of the Circle of Trust, as she leaves an incredible legacy for her children & grandchildren. And so the journey began ...

5.0 out of 5 stars Jr. level read: Epic Fantasy! July 28, 2014
Format:Kindle Edition
Author McCartney takes the reader on an epic fantasy ride under the ocean. Grammy tells the Meridian legends to her grandchildren that were passed on to her from generation to generation. She will take you to the secret undersea world of Aquatica where the last of the Merfolk wait for the prophecy of the water child to come true.

Grammy tells the bedtime story of Em a young mermaid who is out playing with friends in the moonlight when she wonders into forbidden territory. She watches as the Ancient Mariners move the underwater fortress, Noir Castle. Em had only heard of the Banshee’s castle as a legend, but now knows it is real and wants to know more. Danger, mystery and secrets start to unfold.

Grammy tells the children she has many stories to share with them. She tells them how Em would ride the Ray Rider and how she won the Chariot Championships races that Neptune held. Grammy continued to drop hints about Em that made the children ask more questions as to who this mermaid really was. Then Grammy mentioned how Em became a member of the Aqua-Defenders and worked with King Neptune.
Grandpa listened a Grammy told her stories that night. As the lights were turned out, Grandpa feared the children finding out their hidden secrets.
You will have to read the book to find out what the big secrets are!
Now is the time to go on a nautical adventure with the Seager boys and see how their live will be changed forever.

This author has a truly captive imagination where bedtime stories come alive for one little boy. In a time of great sorrow, Sabin discovers that his Grammy was more than just a mere mortal. Grammy really was the warrior defender in her bedtime stories.

More About the Author

There was once a little girl with eyes of deepest blue, who always knew what she wanted to do. "When I grow up, I want to be a daring dreamer," came a tiny voice from somewhere WAY over there. "I know the right way to write," she said, shaking her cute little head. A knowing smile flashed across her face as her wonderful, whimsical future was embraced.

Fast forward to today and all the blue eyed sweetheart wants to do is play. Playing with words strung in rhyme, while humming every single line. Her fingers click across the keys and create a marvelous, magical fantasy. The little girl is now a mom and every bit a kid. She writes what she writes and rights all that she can.
