I purchased this album after listening to Jay's Blood Visions over and over again. At that point I decided to explore more of what this Reatard had to offer. The Lost Sounds are excellent. Every song has a catchy verse chorus that goes about twice and then the song falls into these lovely little deconstructions that build back up into an even more exuberant rendition of the chorus. The synth sound is great, the lyrics are alright (think sci-fi horror thing) and the screaming is not too distracting from the interesting melodies and textures of sound.
Pick up this album as well as "Blackwave" which I think is the better.

Great post-punk sound, with charming riffs. Just a couple of songs are not at the same level as the rest, but if you like American punk, you'll love it!
