Re-create the scary adventures of the Robinson family with this model kit of the one-eyed monster who terrorized the family in Lost in Space. The kit includes the Cyclops (6 inches tall, on a 1-inch-high rock platform that bears the legend "LOST IN SPACE"), a big rock for Robinson-squashing, and separate figures for each family member. The five Robinsons, each 2 inches tall, can be posed in attitudes of fight or flight around the base of the giant boulder. This is a relatively easy model--most of the pieces are large, and there aren't very many of them. Detailed assembly directions include painting suggestions. Be sure to use recommended glue and paints designed for plastic modeling kits. --Richard Farr

The Cyclops in the Lost In Space TV series was by far one of the coolest monsters around. This model of the gargantuan behemoth is in classic posture while holding threatening boulder to onlookers. I must comment that I do prefer the Cyclops model of similar type that also includes a scenario with the Robinson Family and land shuttle. This really completes the picture and adds to the drama. Check Polar Lights brand for optional model type.

THIS KIT IS GREAT FOR LIS COLLECTORS BUT I WOULD HARDLY CLASSIFY IT AS A TOY!...THE LIS MOVIE RESPARKED THE INTEREST IN THE ORIGINAL '60'S ITEMS, WHICH HAVE BECOME ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE (OR NOT AFFORDABLE) TO FIND.
