A superduper ride through time and history,
By A Customer
This review is from: The Lost Testament (Mass Market Paperback)
A sweeping Bible saga that takes the reader from an Israeli kibbutz to the inner halls of the Vatican to the shores of an Ethiopian lake. The narrative is lively, the characters real, and the plot will sweep you late into the witching hours. There is a great deal of historical detail in this, and even if some of it is more fiction than fact, you'll still get off with a vivid historical lesson that you won't easily forget.

Misleading,
By A Customer
This review is from: The Lost Testament (Mass Market Paperback)
This book reeks of scornful opinions against other religions beside Christianity. In a world where we are all trying to achieve peace and harmony with our neighbors, this author has probably strived to destroy them with his seemingly intolerance of other religions. As a non-Christian, I find it hard to get through it, but as I wish to know the heart of the intentions of such a writer, I did. Not everybody can be a Mother Teresa, but in the name of humanity, we can at least be concerned about the feelings of hatred and conflicts that we might stir with our words and actions. I wish writers can be more sensitive and thoughtful.
