5.0 out of 5 stars Bone-Chilling phenominal..., February 20, 2011

This is by far the most incredible book, regarding America's mysterious treasures, that I have EVER read. After the first chapter, I was completely addicted, and stayed that way for the duration of the book. Jameson's incredibly fascinating story voice reminds you of a mysterious character, telling stories of old around a flickering campfire. The biggest thing that I enjoyed about Jameson's style, was that he not only told you the story, but worked his way through the years, telling the "clues" or "hints" that had been uncovered recently! Jameson also supports all of his claims by old historical documents, or testimonies of other people, rather than inserting his own opinions. You will find no crazed UFO-Bigfoot jargon within this masterpiece, only the steel cold truth of history. If you want a solid, concrete, factual, and over all goose-bumping experience, buy this book immediately!

This book was well written, I actually found myself becoming frustrated along with those searching for the treasures. You can't help but find yourself angry with the powers that be in the hunt for the treasure in the weapons testing range in the New Mexico desert. Great read for history lovers and treasure seekers alike!

4.0 out of 5 stars Worth reading for armchair historians, treasure hunters, September 18, 2011
This review is from: Lost Treasures of American History (Paperback)
A fun, interesting read. Not an overly technical book, but there's just enough information to keep your interest as the stories roll out. Collected here are a couple of dozen or so tales about lost treasures throughout American history, and its intriguing to think of all that gold and silver still out there waiting to be found, some of it seemingly within easy reach if the right spot is located.

I haven't finished reading it yet, but the stories I've read so far have been great. Makes me want to go hunt for treasure.
