Annette Lyon loves chocolate, knitting, and reading, not necessarily in that order. As the daughter of a linguist and a bibliophile, she inevitably turned into a writer and a word nerd.

She's been writing ever since second grade, when she piled pillows on a chair to reach her mother's typewriter. A cum laude graduate from Brigham Young University with a degree in English, she took the 2010 Whitney Award for Best General novel with Band of Sisters. Her publications include eight novels, a chocolate cookbook, a grammar guide, and over a hundred articles. She works as a senior editor at Precision Editing Group.

Not your average story - especially meaningful for members of LDS faith. Well written, good characterization,kept my attention. I will definitely read more of her books!
