5.0 out of 5 stars The Lead Singer Is My First Cousin
This band is truly amazing. I grew up listing to my cousin Jason Vena (The lead singer) and have seen this group evolve. I loved them back when they were called Day Zero. These guys are so dedicated to their art.I am so happy to see that people like the band and their music. Spread the word, Acceptance is the band of today.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not too original
It seems harder and harder for bands these days to find their own sound. Acceptance is no exception, seeing as they sound almost identical to The Get Up Kids and Jimmy Eat World. Basically, these songs sound like B sides for "Something to Write Home About". So why the three stars for a band that so obviously is jumping on the emo pop bandwagon? Well, I'm a...

These boys have lots of talent and a great live show. Lost for Words is a cd with songs that are both technical and catchy at the same time with awesome lyrics and vocals.

I've seen this band is concert three times and they always sound better each time. They know how to write songs that have meaning. This type of emotional punk is going to explode.

4.0 out of 5 stars Acceptance 2000 EP, July 16, 2005
By
This review is from: Lost for Words (Audio CD)
This six song EP shows the diverse talent that this band 'Acceptance' has to offer. The entire CD only goes for 35 odd minutes but the quality of the songs are terrific. This young band that dabbles inbetween emo and alt rock beats shows alot of promise. 'I believe', 'Things You Say' and 'Torn Inside' are utterly beautiful songs that deal with love and relationships. The lyrics are meaningful and the listener will be able to identify with a song or songs from this album release. It is a beautiful album with six equally succinct songs that will leave the listener a fan of this budding alt rock band from the USA.

I heard about Acceptance on my college radio station at Westmont, the guy whose show I was listening to told me to check them out, and the only thing I regret is that I didn't hear about Acceptance sooner!

4.0 out of 5 stars Acceptance - Old vd. New, April 12, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Lost for Words (Audio CD)
This CD is rad. Great songs and a really unique sound. This is the only "emo" band that all my emo-hating friends will listen to. I just got a copy of the new record, Black Lines To Battlefields and its probably going to be my top record of the year. OK i lied, i didnt get the new record actually, I downloaded it from P2P. But I WILL buy it when it comes out.
