Book Description

Joan Grant Autobiography February 1, 1999
Subtitled "a supernatural journey through France," this book is a charming memoir based on several trips Joan Grant made through the Lot region of France. She describes not only her mundane travels and adventures, but also the hidden dimensions of her trips--the laments of soldiers who had recently died during the second world war, as well as the cries of spirits who had died violently centuries before.

Editorial Reviews

About the Author

Joan Grant authored a set of 7 remarkable novels, in which she recaptures the drama and setting of one of her own previous lives. Called "far memory" novels, these 7 books offer tremendous insight into the nature of reincarnation, spiritual development, and psychic talents. She also wrote a set of memoirs and one nonfiction study of reincarnation, Many Lifetimes, which she coauthored with her 3rd husband, Denys Kelsey.

1.0 out of 5 stars Title is very misleading., July 4, 2007
This review is from: A Lot to Remember: A Supernatural Journey Through Thr French Province of Lot (Joan Grant Autobiography) (Paperback)
If you are looking for a travel summary of the sights and sounds of the countryside, what the menus were at the local tavern, how much the wine and meals cost, and what the state of the bedrooms at the inns were like, this is the book for you. However, if (like I was) you are expecting to read about supernatural encounters, you may just as well save your money. I have never read anything by Joan Grant before this, so I cannot guess as to how interesting her other works may be.. I only know I was sorely disappointed in this one. There were only two "supernatural" encounters, each not being more than a page or so, in the whole book. A "Supernatural Journey" ...... I think not!
