When you work out at the gym, you are bound to get something if they don't keep their equipment clean. I was one of those "lucky" people last summer. I guess all those sweaty bodies made for the prime fungal habitat. Most people won't know that athlete's foot is a type of ring worm. I didn't know until I contracted ringworm from the dirty equipment. My doctor recommended I try Lotrimin. Within a week the ringworm started to fade away. By the second week it had a light pink tinge to it. The third week, a shadow of it remained with the whole thing cleared up by the 4th week.
This summer I ended up with yet another case of ringworm on my leg. This time I recognized it quickly and broke out the Lotrimin. I went with the AF Ringworm brand and it seems it healed it more quickly. By the third week, you couldn't tell where it had been.
