I've never been comfortable quilting with scraps but this book may make me a believer. I had a chance to preview this book at a quilt meeting and loved some of the designs. I'm glad to add the book to my library. There's something for everyone: bed quilts, baby quilts, table runners, wall hangings, tote bags. The pidturs are beautiful and the instructions are clear. The only improvement I can think of would be the addition of quilting ideas for the projects.

I have many quilting books but this one has such beautiful patterns. I bought it because my daughter wanted a fish baby quilt but was so excited when I saw the other beautiful quilts in the book. I am looking forward to trying many of them.

I love making scrap quilts and own WAY too many quilt books, but I guess there's always room for one more. There are two or three patterns in this book that I really like, one so much that I started working on it within two weeks of receiving the book (and have actually finished the quilt top).

My one quibble, which I have with many of the scrap patterns I've looked at and/or made: do the authors REALLY make these patterns from their scrap stash, or do they (as someone in my quilt guild suggested) cut exactly what they need from yardage. It DOES make a difference in how yours turns out, and I do continue to wonder.

But this is, overall, a nice book of patterns, and "Dancing Colors" is the one that I have made.
