Xysma's most well known recording?,

This isn't really metal anymore. Xysma started out as a very grindcore band, then progressed from album to album. Their first demo was Swarming Of The Maggots, and their last CD (before they parted ways) was Girl On The Beach. Lotto is really the only CD that you'll easily find anywhere. On this one, Joanitor (vocals) sounds a big like Danzig, or (like Ian from) The Cult. He pretty much went from his death growl to more actual singing. After this CD, is voice became really really good. Reminds me a bit of Elvis. This is a good heavy record with good production. One thing I've always liked about this band, they've aways been a bit out in left field, doing what they want to do. No 2 Xysma albums sound the same, or are really even the same music, although it IS the same band. This was their 'hard rock' period. The last song 'Bravado' in interesting, as it's basicly a atmospheric piece. Very spacy. The rest is pretty well played hard rock / kinda old school metal.

Better than american music,

Xysma ( ZHIS-MUH ) are from finland and are the second best band to hail from that cold country, after Amorphis. Xysma are not death metal. Some of their early recordings were very Carcass like. The new stuff is very hip more like alternative although I hate to use that turn because their music is like realy hip suave metal.
