A worthy testament to the talents of Colin Chapman and all who played a part in the great Lotus adventure. -- Clive Chapman

This book towers head and shoulders over anything ever written about the Marque. -- Graham Arnold, Club Lotus

About the Author

A passionate enthusiast for Lotus and a recognised authority on the Marque, William Taylor studied photography at Bournemouth & Poole College of Art and, after working in Bristol for two years, moved to London in 1983. For fifteen years he has been a photographer working primarily with advertising agencies, publishers and the media from his studio in London's West End.

THE LOTUS BOOK is the culmination of four years work, much of it spent locating some of the rarest cars in order that they could be photographed for this publication.

Over the years William has owned, restored and competed in several different Lotus cars, most recently a Lotus Formula Junior.

If you either own a Lotus or are contemplating purchasing a Lotus of any age, this is an outstanding book to purchase. It will help you understand the evolution of the marque and your particular automobile. I've read it twice from cover to cover and learned something new each time. A great complement to other model specific series (Elan, Elise, Elite, Europa). It is worth every penny of the price.

5.0 out of 5 stars Things Remembered, August 9, 2006
As a Lotus employee during their glory years, 1960-1965, I enjoyed seeing the cars displayed in the book as I saw them produced and watched their successes.
The way the book was compiled and presented would be a must own for any enthusiast of the Lotus Marque. The photographs are excellent, as well as the text, which starts from the very beginning of Lotus history to the present day.
I am more then satisfied with this representation of Lotus Cars
contribution to the automotive world.
