Just for the CD..Not to mention the great content,

This review is from: Lotus Notes and Domino 5 Scalable Network Design (Paperback)
The application entitled Activity Trends on the CD is worth much more than the cost of the book alone. Not to mention this is the only book that gives real life data with an emphasis on networking/infrastructure.. Dont be fooled by the title.. You will learn more than just networking/infrastructure stuff.. There is everything in this book.. This is a must for anyone who wants to understand Lotus Notes/Domino from end to end.. Highly recomended!

Good overview, very light on "How to",

This review is from: Lotus Notes and Domino 5 Scalable Network Design (Paperback)
The book covers a nice broad overview of Domino 5 and what it has for features and Domino Infrastructure. I had hoped for more nuts and bolts content along the "how to" line. It describes many of Lotus's and IBM's products and add ons, but again lacks any teeth as far as learning anything about using or administering Domino 5..

This review is from: Lotus Notes and Domino 5 Scalable Network Design (Paperback)
I am a coauthor of this book. The book contains Domino network design information for every size enterprise, large and small. The section in Chapter 2 on network bandwidth requirements for centralized Domino servers has proven to be of immense interest to customers of all sizes. Also unique to this book is information on Domino capacity planning based on work by IBM Research. The Activity Trends Domino database to help with capacity planning is included on the book's CD-ROM.
