Glenn M. Smith was raised on the west coast of British Columbia, Canada. His greatest loves at the time were being out in nature and swimming in the pristine lakes of central BC. After raising a family and running a successful healing practice he moved on to create more in his life. After meeting his muse a story began to come to his mind and his pen started to flow. The writing of Lotus Petal was cathartic at times. Weaved through the story are the beliefs and philosophies that have served the author throughout his life. As Tin evolves with his spiritual development, his destiny in life becomes very clear to him. He must accept and embrace all of who he is to realize his truth. As he opens to the support that is all around him he flourishes. This simple tale tells how the boy, Tin, born amid great expectations, is torn from his family by Mephisto's men and sets out on a journey of learning and self-discovery. He briefly meets the enticing Lotus Petal, and when she vanishes, his goal is to find her. His learning experiences with many mentors over several years give him mystic knowledge. Tin sets out to confront Mephisto and uses his special powers to depose him, bringing prosperity to his people, and reuniting him with Lotus Petal. It's a spiritual parable that is meant to both entertain and educate the reader...

_Lotus Petal_ is a delicious read. I love the characters and feel like I have known them in another life. I am in anticipation of the next adventure. This book has light, love, and a fresh perspective on the power of love and humanity. A delightful adventure.

I could not put the book down. Glenn weaved such a beautiful story that had all the elements of love, lost love, life challenges and an ending that wasn't quite so final! I hope there is a sequel...thank you Glenn for a book that I will pass on to my family.
