GREATEST EURODANCE/ EUROPOP ALBUM EVER!!!,
By
This review is from: Loud Pipes Save Lives (Sport Edition) (Audio CD)
Ignore what that guy says down there, he's obviously got no ear for music whatsoever.
This album is one of the BEST Eurodance albums. Period. The opening intro sums up the whole album pretty well. Epic, sometimes regal, and POWERFUL. There are no weak tracks to make this album suck. The anthems Campione and Olympia are POWERFUL, CATCHY, AND INCREDIBLE, and the tracks following are just as good, or even BETTER. Dans La Fantasie is a particular favourite with everyone I know. The Predator is HARD POP, which I never even thought was possible, and tracks like Rain kick up the speed a notch, and add energy, while the "Elvis-esque" ballad at the end is great to slow dance to with that special someone. People who rag on E-Type, Martin's voice, or whatever, are just silly. Masterboy and The Real McCoy sound just as silly, but they lack the power, punch, and sheer musical joy E-Type puts forth. And for the record.... the male vocalist isn't gay (I heard someone claim that in a different review).... he's SWEDISH. All Swedish men sound like that when they speak in english. I happen to be one, and I know. Recommended tracks.... ALL!!! The Predator sounds evil, Olympia & Campione are epic, Dans La Fantasie is gorgeous, The Original You has a gnarly rap segment, and crazy downtempo sound, Far Up In The Air, and Forever More are great Eurodance, and Rain is pure ecstacy, in music. If Heaven Were To Fall is also excellent, and Lost And Goodbye is a great ballad. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it also a totally original track? I don't even think Cascada managed that with theirs (and I think Cascada rules too)!!! So what are you waiting for??? Get this dance/pop/Eurodance/hands up album! This is AWESOME stuff!

E-Type's third album is fabulous! It is jam-packed with positive lyrically-based Euro-Dance/Hi-NRG music! Even though this album has not been released in the U.S., the club music lovers have made possible albums' awesome hits "Paradise", "Camilla" & "Predator" on the one of the U.S. dance-oriented singles chart called the EuroNRG Top 40 chart. I strongly recommend this album to any Euro-Dance/Hi-NRG lover.

The Viking of Swedish disco,

Many people in Sweden are sick and tired of E-Type. He can't really sing or rap, most of his songs sound pretty much alike, and he's not always in his best mood during interviews. His image is also pretty weird: despite rapping on trashie disco tunes, he looks like a heavy metal fan! Me and my colleague H.C. often laugh at his songs.
And yet, we cannot stop listening to them... E-Type's music is catchy in an uncanny sort of way. At least on CD. Live is another matter entirely. "Loud pipes save lives" is probably the man's best album. It includes the hit "Paradise" and the songs "Camilla", "The Predator", "Dans La Fantasie" and "If heaven were to fall" (to mention just the best). The female singer Na Na is featured on several of the tracks. She's almost a proverbial "fat lady who sings". BTW, did you know that E-Type's father is a well known presenter of natural science programs on Swedish television? Shows what a small country this is! If Euro-trash disco isn't your cup of tea, you will probably hate the guts of this Swedish Viking. But if you love catchy pop tunes, you might want to check out "Loud pipes save lives".

E-type is a great artist. If you like his music, you will definitely enjoy this one. "Rain" is my personal favorite, it is really powerfull. "The Predator" and "Paradise" are also superb. Check out the videoclips on You Tube! (and listen to the songs for free...). And if you don't like this music, don't post here. E-type is by far the best Eurodance artist, imho.
