Directing, Director of photography, just everything.

While the reason for the father wanting to help is awful this focuses more on what they do to help rather then dwell on the death.

Very moving, and the family communication issues are common among families in the world we live in today.

"They may have lost their glue but they never fell apart." John (Duchovny) and Brenda (Davis) Fareri are the parents in a loving family. They have four kids and careers that make them happy. When their youngest daughter is taken to the hospital the doctor says there is nothing to worry about so the parents hang out waiting to hear what is wrong. When things take a terrible turn and their daughter dies the family is thrown into chaos. John comes up with an idea to build a better children's hospital with better facilities and care then they received. This initially causes more family tension. I will start by saying that this movie isn't as sad and depressing as it sounds. I went in thinking this was going to be like Patch Adams. This is actually more like Extraordinary Measures. While the reason for the father wanting to help is awful this focuses more on what they do to help rather then dwell on the death. The movie isn't bad at all and is worth watching it is also a little slow in some parts and does lack some sort of emotion to keep you fully vested. Overall I movie I do recommend because I love true stories but you need to be in the mood for it. I give this a B.

Truly a heartbreaking and at the same time a heartwarming story based on true life events. The entire cast gives a beautiful performance and David Duchovny is wonderful as subdued Father.

A very good movie to watch. A very moving story for what this little girl's father ( she passes on in movie ) does for her in her memory. A very trying time for the family to pull together during this difficult time. But they keep the faith in hopes of a new dream hospital to be built in his daughter's honor. A must see movie for the entire family.

This feel good film, based on a true story, is an inspiring example of how to embrace the most difficult and painful situation as motivation for doing something truly wonderful in the world that can benefit a vast number of people. It is well acted and worth a watch.

I LOVE this story! The film itself was okay. I wouldn't recommend for the acting or the art of film, but would for the story.

I was surprised to enjoy this so much as I thought at first it was going to be a sappy Hallmark-type film. Nicely-done.

Extremely touching movie; this true story is deeply personal, and a tale of turning tragedy into helping others.
