Loudmouth Rocks,

I first heard Loudmouth when I bought the playstation game Omega boost. They were on the soundtrack for the game with Static-X and I was amazed by both of the groups and just had to go out and buy Loudmouth's CD. It's a great CD with good songs that really rock.

BEST Rock Band you've never listened to,
This review is from: Loudmouth (Audio CD)
This band caught my attention back in 99 when the single "Fly" was on the radio. This is the best undiscovered album in all of rock, and I'm a huge fan of bands from Led Zeppelin to Pantera to Van Halen to Guns N Roses to Alice in Chains. Get this one. I swear it's better than any other rock album that you haven't listened to yet.
If it wasn't for corporate radio playing nothing but rap-rock in the late 90s, these guys would've been superstars. This is a solid album.

Great band, great new projects by John L Sullivan,
This review is from: Loudmouth (Audio CD)
Loudmouth was an amazing band. They just didn't get the marketing support from Hollywood Records. They have a reunion show on Nov. 10 in chicago. John L Sullivan is now producing records from his studio, The Floodzone and has a couple of projects going. thenouvolts.com, an ever changing band, and he is also preparing an accoustic tour with his new modern rock sound. info, demo? email paul@thenouvolts dot com

I had never heard Loudmouth until I played Omega Boost for the Playstation 1. Their style is rather heavy without the crappy screaming I've become accustomed to in bands like this. I like almost every track on the cd.

Yes, when not much was available in the hard rock / metal arena. These guys came out with a good one. I wish I had found this back then? You may have heard "Fly" on XM-Squizz as I did. These guys rock hard with a 70's inspired ting to their music (Zeppelin, Sabbath, etc..). Good groves, vocals and gritty in your face guitars. If you're a fan of COC (Corrosion of Conformity), Godsmack, Second Coming, Injected and maybe a touch of old Whitesnake, Thin Lizzy or The Cult. Or any other 70's inspired hard rock / metal, you should really like this CD. Standouts are "Fly", "Rats in a Maze", "The Road" and "End of the Century". I would say this is a solid four stars because not all the tunes are as strong as the four I've stated. Still definitely worth getting. Especially when you can get it on Amazon's marketplace for basicaly nothing, as I did. It's worth every penny! It was disappointing to hear that these guys broke up. It's unfortunate when real talent doesn't make it as far as they should.

Loudmouth ROCKS!!!,

I discovered this band thanks to a review in Metal Edge magazine. The review said that Metallica was covering the song "Not Free" in concert and that they really liked this band. I brought it on that recommendation and I love this album!! It has twelve great songs and should be a must have for any hard rock fan. Just a piece of advise-listen to "Maybe" on head phones. It's a real trip! Boy was Metallica right. This is one of the best newer albums out now!
