DesignedBy Philip S+arck, these, like most of his amazing designs, make you look twice.
I'd looked at these online for months before pulling the trigger. So here comes the pro's and con's.
Pro's:
1. They look GREAT. So much so, I'll be sharing photos. They are an immediate conversation piece. When people enter my home, they immediately ask about my chairs.
which are comprised of Four Victoria's and two Ghosts sitting at a Ligne Roset Extensia table.
2. They are one piece, so they are easy to clean. Hell, you could probably just hose them down if something were to happen.
3. They make a statement, especially, if you are a furniture snob. Like me.
Con's:
1. The knock-offs look nearly as good as these do, for a much lower price.
2. These retail all day long for $410 per. Expensive for a plastic chair. At that price, you're careful with them. Which you have to be. And that brings me to my next point.
3. Have some *special* chairs set aside for your bigger friends. These chairs are made of acrylic (aka Plastic) and as such they are not designed to withstand a whole lot of weight.
4. You could probably get something with leather that's more comfy. I have couches for that. My table is usually a temporary place with the bulk of the socializing happening in the kitchen or the living room.
Either way, I'm happy with my purchase, I wish they were sturdier, but I didn't buy them for sturdy. I bought them because they look great.
Will they be great for you? Well, that's up to you.
