I recommend that a reader start with one of them and read Cheever's book as a supplement.
I am moving on to Riesen's recent biography next, and hope to enjoy that one more, but as for Cheever, I regret to say that I will not be revisiting this book.
This book was decent, but you won't find anything in this new biography that you couldn't find in a dozen other biographies on Louisa May Alcott.
