Finished it in one sitting...,

The way this biography reads is very captivating. The author really seemed to capture Miss Alcott's personality and experiences. I had no idea her family was so connected with so many famous figures. It covers her life very thoroughly. I will say though, it could use a little editing for extra words (a, the, etc).
