1.0 out of 5 stars Sold as new...obviously used
I paid for a new book and was shocked when received...it was obviously used. The book was received in a timely manner and gift wrapped. At first I was impressed until I opened the package.
This was purchased as a birthday gift, and who wants to give someone a used cookbook for their 50th birthday?

This cookbook has been the bridge from being a ho hum cook to.. This is wonderful.! We refer to this as the New Orlens Cookbook. This is company food.If a favorite recipe needed it comes from here.On one of our anniversary's our daughter(17) made us Ragout a la Francaise.pg 203. the yam casserole on pg148. has become a family tradition on Thanksgiving for both sides of the family.!It has a good variety of foods, pork, catfish, chicken,. The chicken creole on pg.14 is a meal we fix for first time company, its full of flavour, and wows! the tastbuds . I love this cookbook . The pages are well worn and stained. You do have to like the experience of cooking with this book, the recipes are laid out nicely but are a little hard if this would be your first attempt. There is alot of chopping, diceing, peeling,. Its also nice because it has a breakdown of calories, carbs, fat, protien, sodium, cholesterol, and saturated fat, and serving size! The pictures are great someday I plan to decorate my kitchen around the pictures.!
