In addition, every step has a double rivet construction. A Louisville step Ladder is great for both professionals and DIY'ers. Built for Strength and Safety Each step Ladder is built to withstand 300 pounds of pressure (person included), and features grooved steps to provide maximum traction as you move up and down. Heavy-duty inside spreaders not only help the ladder unfold smoothly, but they also keep it from wobbling dangerously as you climb. The versatile"pro-top" increases user productivity. It includes a hardware tray, paint bucket holder, drill slots, screwdriver holder, curved front, pipe/2x4 holder, and a magnet tray.Fiberglass step ladders should be used whenever contact may be made with live electrical circuits. The Louisville FS1506 includes Da Boot, a patented design by Louisville ladder. It is a polypropylene copolymer. A thick non-maring thermoplastic elastomer tread is bonded. and mechanically fastened to the upper boot and provides a slip-resistant footing. Inside, Da Boot has a unique open design that allows for quick and easy visual inspection.
The Louisville Step Ladder meets safety standards set by the American National Standards Institute and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.

This ladder was a good choice for the intended usage. I purchased it for the elementary school where I work, and the flexibility it offers for the price is great. We have a few other Louisville ladders, this one seems of the same quality. It is light weight enough for a typical person to be able to move, but heavy enough that you don't feel like you are balancing on a spring when you are at the top. For the average homeowner with a high peak in the roof they need to paint, or a school with high ceilings, it is a good choice.

I wasn't sure about buying this ladder with the Louisville brand name. I have only heard of the popular Werner name brand ladders but my local lumber yard stocked the Louisville ladder and told me this is a very good ladder and they were right. I like the innovative tool holding features on the top shelf and the magnet to hold small parts or small metal tools. A very stable ladder and the bottom rubber boot keeps from marring your good floor plus they don't slip either. It might have been nice if it came with a paint bucket shelf but I can add one from Louisville if need be. It is lite weight not at all like my heavy multi-jointed ladder with round rungs ( not good for standing on for long periods of time or even shorts periods of time for that matter ) which is a beast to move about inside the house and there is very seldom room ( in our house anyway ) to use the multi-jointed features but it is great for outside jobs. I have never had a good 6ft ladder until this Louisville and should have bought one years ago instead of using poor substitutes like too short step stools, plastic buckets, boxes and anything else instead of a good ladder. I know this Louisville ladder will last longer than I will.

I bought this ladder to Change the ceiling fans in my house. The magnet on top was great to hold fasteners and my drill. I was able to put up the fan with out any help because all my tools were right there. I highly reccomend this ladder.

Well built - great ladder
As far as 6 foot ladders go you can't really beat this.. especially at $79.99. Light and extremely sturdy. If I ever needed more than one I would but this ladder again and again.
