A fun, nostalgic cookbook--and it even has a few surprises. --Oprah.com

I hear about books and causes all the time, and this one really spoke to me. The latest book, which is a true celebrity cookbook with family recipes, is one I think everyone will enjoy. The fact that proceeds go to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is all the more reason people should find it. As parents, we sometimes want to give to causes like these but we forget to follow through. This cookbook with recipes from Jennifer Aniston, Betty White, Jay Leno and Mario Lopez, among others is something that families will enjoy. There are family breakfast ideas, lunches, family dinners and desserts along with little stories from the celebrities on why they liked it or which family member first made it for them. It is a worthy cause and fun. --Carol Veravanich, The Orange County Register

The book opens with a story about a lamb, Loukoumi, and her friends, a dog, a monkey, and a cat, that are hungry. The cast of cartoon animals joins Aunt Cat Cora, who gives tips about making a cake. Nick Katsoris is author of the iParenting Media award winning Loukoumi book series. Loukoumi's Celebrity Cookbook (releasing on November 21) features the fifth illustrated storybook in the series as well as favorite childhood recipes from over 50 celebrities including Cat Cora, Oprah Winfrey, Taylor Swift, Paula Deen, Matt Lauer, Al Roker, Sherri Shepherd, Beyonce, Betty White, Eli Manning, Celine Dion, Nicole Kidman, Jay Leno, Reese Witherspoon, Rachael Ray, Ellen DeGeneres, Neil Patrick Harris, Mark Wahlberg and others. After 200 storytime events nationwide and thousands of entries, three kids were selected to live their Dream Days. One visited NASA to witness the Phoenix spacecraft land on Mars, another played soccer with the New York Red Bulls, and a third cooked on the air with CBS chef Tony Tantillo, plus got the chance to meet Rachael Ray.

Based on his book Loukoumi's Good Deeds narrated on CD by Jennifer Aniston, he rallies thousands of kids each October to do a good deed on National Make a Difference Day by sponsoring Make a Difference with Loukoumi Day. And now he is sponsoring the Loukoumi's Secret Ingredient recipe contest where the winning child can get to cook their recipe with Celebrity Chef Cat Cora - for details visit www.Loukoumi.com. Nick is a practicing attorney as General Counsel of the Red Apple Group in New York and President and Founder of the Hellenic Times Scholarship Fund, which has awarded over 700 scholarships. There was an article about this cookbook in USA Today and that is how I found out about it. Jennifer Anniston's quinoa salad recipe is incredible -- no really. I will be making it for the rest of my life. And Nicole Kidman's recipe for rice pudding is divine and so comfy and yummy. Also, Ellen degeneres contributes a fantastic recipe for vegan sliders which are fantastic. All for a good cause too -- you can't go wrong with this one!

So why should I have to chose between any of Loukoumi's Adventures (which all children love to hear the stories) or Loukoumi's Celebrity Cookbook? The time spent as a family preparing recipies such as Cat's Italian Cream Cake; John's Cinnamon Toast; Alexis' English Muffin Pizza or Nick's Pastitsio, etc...it is way to difficult...all I can say is that all the books are great! Not only have recipe contributions been made by the most intriguing people of today, a percentage of the sale proceeds go to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The books are perfect gifts for anyone.

I love Loukoumi's Celebrity Cookbook!! The story is very heart-warming and the collection of celebrity recipes is so wonderful. I love how each celebrity recipe is accompanied by his/her childhood memory - I often catch myself reading in the middle of cooking!! I'm slowly making my way through the recipes but my favorite so far are Katie Couric's Lemon Squares and Reese Witherspoon's Cowboy Cookies. I make them for guests and give them as gifts and everyone always raves about them!!

A portion of the proceeds go to St Jude's Research Hospital and Chefs for Humanity so the purchase is guilt-free!

Definitely buy this book as a gift for all the children in your life - and buy one for yourself as well!

This book is a great find! Loukoumi's Celebrity Cookbook has something for everyone! Great recipes and the best part is it gets my kids in the kitchen to cook some of the favorites of their favorite Disney Channel stars plus Miranda Cosgrove! I personally love Beyonce's Guacamole and Katie Couric's Lemon Squares. Oprah's Corn Fritters and Nicole Kidman's rice pudding too. And I recently read an article about this book and little 3 year old patient from St. Jude Children's Hospital who was an inspiration for the project. The girl had a tumor in her eye and was faced with possibly going blind so it was so important to her family for her to read and see books as much as she could so that she would remember the pictures in case she unfortunately ever did lose her vision. Apparently, every night before she went to bed this girl asked to have the books in the Loukoumi series read to her. You can't go wrong with this one.

This is a great cookbook for any family with kids who love to cook. It's cool that there are so many different recipies in it from so many different celebrites and I like that some of the money goes to charity. :) ~ ♥Alyssa
