About the Author

Nick Katsoris is author of the iParenting Media award winning Loukoumi book series. Loukoumi's Celebrity Cookbook features the fifth illustrated storybook in the series as well as favorite childhood recipes from over 50 celebrities. Proceeds from the books benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, The Make A Wish Foundation and Chefs for Humanity. There was an article about this cookbook in USA Today and that is how I found out about it. Jennifer Anniston's quinoa salad recipe is incredible -- no really. I will be making it for the rest of my life. And Nicole Kidman's recipe for rice pudding is divine and so comfy and yummy. Also, Ellen degeneres contributes a fantastic recipe for vegan sliders which are fantastic. All for a good cause too -- you can't go wrong with this one!

So why should I have to chose between any of Loukoumi's Adventures (which all children love to hear the stories) or Loukoumi's Celebrity Cookbook? The time spent as a family preparing recipies such as Cat's Italian Cream Cake; John's Cinnamon Toast; Alexis' English Muffin Pizza or Nick's Pastitsio, etc...it is way to difficult...all I can say is that all the books are great! Not only have recipe contributions been made by the most intriguing people of today, a percentage of the sale proceeds go to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The books are perfect gifts for anyone.

I love Loukoumi's Celebrity Cookbook!! The story is very heart-warming and the collection of celebrity recipes is so wonderful. I love how each celebrity recipe is accompanied by his/her childhood memory - I often catch myself reading in the middle of cooking!! I'm slowly making my way through the recipes but my favorite so far are Katie Couric's Lemon Squares and Reese Witherspoon's Cowboy Cookies. I make them for guests and give them as gifts and everyone always raves about them!!

A portion of the proceeds go to St Jude's Research Hospital and Chefs for Humanity so the purchase is guilt-free!

Definitely buy this book as a gift for all the children in your life - and buy one for yourself as well!

What a great addition to the Loukoumi series! Loukoumi's Celebrity Cookbook is full of delicious recipes from a wide range of folks from Miranda Cosgrove to Betty White. My kids enjoy choosing and making meals (with parental help) shared by their favorite celebrity as well as reading the childhood memories accompanying each dish.

I particularly like the allergy friendly ingredient substitutes listed in the back of the book!
