Loukoumi's Gift is a gem. This book teaches kids that the perfect gift comes straight from the heart and does not need to cost a lot of money. It is applicable all year round, but my son has especially taken the message to heart as he has started drawing pictures for the whole family for Christmas. The book also supports St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a very worthwhile organization. Well recommended as well as the companion book and CD, Loukoumi's Good Deeds.

This book about doing nice things for others is one of my favorite children's books! A great book in the wonderful and endearing Loukoumi series!

Loukoumi's Gift is a great lesson for kids because it teaches them that the perfect gift can come from the heart like a card or a gesture or a baked good! I saw Gloria Gaynor read this story on FOX and Friends and it immediately resonated with me. Jennifer Aniston and John Aniston do an amazing job narrating the book on CD as well. The characters are so adorable and the illustrations very vibrant. What a great book series and proceeds from the book benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital - the best gift of all.
