If you like polkas AND tasteful music, this is it!,

Big Lou is THE most glamorous, versatile and talented polka goddess in the US today. She sings in several languages, plays great accordion, and has the best outfits on the entire polka circuit. I especially love her duets with Glen Walters, and her creative use of kazoos. I give it a (high) five!

Who would expect to find, on a polka album, a woman singing French on a waltz in D-minor? That's what we find on the third track. Although I like a lot of polka artists, I often feel a bit uncomfortable that the field is so male-dominated, at times even a little sexist. This casserole is a blast of fresh air. My personal favorites are the lively instrumental numbers found on tracks two and eight. There's a lot of good stuff here.
