Best VW/Porsche Documentary I've Seen
No, it isn't a Hudson/Remick TV movie. But it is a truly excellent documentary for those interested in Dr. Ferdinand Porsche and his universally-known creation, the Volkswagen Beetle. Twice as long as most of the other Beetle biopics available, "The Lovable Beetle" is packed with fascinating facts, humorous anecdotes, and lots of rare footage & photos going...

Attention!
This is NOT a Lee Remick, Rock Hudson movie!!! This is a documentary about the automobile industry and has nothing to do with the 1978 TV mini-series called "Arthur Hailey's Wheels". The mini-series ran 540 minutes and is not available on VHS.

No, it isn't a Hudson/Remick TV movie. But it is a truly excellent documentary for those interested in Dr. Ferdinand Porsche and his universally-known creation, the Volkswagen Beetle. Twice as long as most of the other Beetle biopics available, "The Lovable Beetle" is packed with fascinating facts, humorous anecdotes, and lots of rare footage & photos going back to the 19th century. If you dig Veedubs in any format, this video will satisfy you. Lee Remick fans need not apply. ;)
