Most Helpful Customer Reviews

Format: Hardcover
The jacket blurb says that the author teaches creative writing. I would never take a course from her. I found the leading characters unlikeable, one-dimensional and the plot boring. There were also a lot of words used in England, not used in America, that I didn't understand, and I found that frustrating. But I could tolerate that if I liked the book (after all, I loved Bridget Jones Diary and I love Jane Austen's novels). Fortunately, I got this at the library and didn't pay for it.
