The Affair,
By
This review is from: Love Affair (Arabesque) (Mass Market Paperback)
Desiree Mack was an appraisal agent for resort hotels. She enjoyed her work very much. After a recent breakup with her fiancee, she was asked to assist one of the bosses of her company on an appraisal trip to Africa. Desiree thought it a good idea to get far away. She was asked to potray the bosses wife. Desiree thought it part of the job and didn't mind, but soon found herself attracted and falling for her handsome boss Austin Hughes.Austin Hughes thought using Desiree as his wife a piece of cake, since he has been at this for so long. He used another agent numerous times in the past. He never thought Desiree would effect him the way she did. She was so easy going and loving, he found he couldn't see his life without her in it. He even gave her a nickname Desi. Desiree got sick on the way back to the United States. Austin told the flight attendant that his wife was ill. He later realized he actually thought of Desiree in that way. He wanted to protect and care for her. Austin finds out someone is trying to destroy his business and starts to work on finding out who it is. Love Affair was a simple story about falling in love. I think there could have been a little more intrigue with the person who was trying to sabatoge Austin's business. I am however, looking forward to Vivian and Zack's story.

Pretend Marriage leads to falling in love,

This review is from: Love Affair (Arabesque) (Mass Market Paperback)
Interesting book about the lives of hotel consultants. Austin Hughes is happily single, but he needs to be married to travel on business to West Africa. Desiree Mack happily accepts being that she loves her job and this gives her a chance to show the big boss what she is made of. She does everything to resist, but finds herself drawn to him and does not want to put her career in jeapordy by crossing the line. I feel the book could have gone a little deeper about the sabatoge of his busines. All in all this books is a good read.

This book was ok, it's about Austin and Desiree. The two have to pretend to be married for their job. I didn't feel the couple ever really acted like they were in love, Desiree never really could tell how Austin felt about her.
