This wonderful and sanctifying book is replete with meditations and prayers written by some of history's most prominent saints, religious leaders, spiritual icons and enlightened humanitarians. It is very compelling in light of the fact that so many spiritual luminaries have had reverence for all God's creatures throughout numerous centuries. The Reverend Andrew Linzey adeptly selected illuminated passages and adroitly edited this literary treasure of compassion for animals ! People who love animals will be fortified when they realize that so many benevolent and great minds share their kinship and bond with other creatures.
