Book Description

September 1, 1999
"What is it about us women and our rubber-band emotions? Truth be known, ladies, we are in this emotional flurry together. We are capable of going from fearful, to flaunting, to frenzied and everything in-between. And I think it's time to talk."

Best-selling author Patsy Clairmont reveals how women can unwrap God's wonderful gift to them: the gift of emotions. Through biblical role models and personal experiences, Patsy explores the variety of emotional, spiritual, and character qualities that daily challenge us and that make us uniquely women. Through this journey from emotionally wealthy to emotionally healthy, you will discover why I Love Being a Woman is something to celebrate.

More About the Author

Patsy Clairmont's quick wit and depth of biblical knowledge combine in a powerful pint-size package. She helps you to laugh God's truths right into your heart. Her mission to provide humor and hope for healing comes from her own struggles. A recovering agoraphobic, Patsy speaks at Women of Faith conferences, addressing tens of thousands of women, and has written more than twenty-four books, including Catching Fireflies, All Cracked Up, and I Grew Up Little. She loves a rainy day, a good book, and a deep cushioned chair. Given a day off, she shops, solves the world's problems with a friend over lunch, and hugs the stuffing out of her two grandsons, Justin and Noah. Patsy and her husband of forty-seven years, Les, live in Tennessee.

4.0 out of 5 stars Patsy's humor and faith, December 18, 2001
This review is from: I Love Being a Woman ( Focus On The Family) (Paperback)
I was first introduced to Patsy Clairmont when I heard a tape of hers, and I laughed until my sides hurt! It is wonderful when people are so filled with joy by their faith that their humor brings people closer to God. This is a light, easy read. Each chapter is a short commentary about being a woman, a mother, a wife and a Christian. It is not provoking theology, but it is applicable, enjoyable and uplifting.
