Surviving a long bout with sanity, J. Morgan found a muse willing to work cheap and began work on his first book. Since then, his imagination has been seen running wild on several occasions. Luckily, the straight jackets have been limited to his time away from the computer. When not writing, 'Jmo' can be found in front of the TV pretending to write while really watching endless hours of drivel and laughing at the voices in his head who are constantly feeding him plot lines. While the voices may not be in total control just yet, one day they hope to have a book deal of their own. Until then, J. Morgan will continue to get to spend the royalty checks.

J. Morgan is currently procrastinating on books for three publishers but his current books, those his muse aren't holding out on, came be found at these fine publishers; Champagne Books, Desert Breeze Publishing and Lyrical Press, and of course Amazon.

Lysette Ravell will do anything to get her brother, Eli, back. Anything including putting up with the Marshall family. What on earth was her brother, Donatello, thinking when he married a whining, human slayer? Now, stuck with Savannah's brother, Kristain, Lysette is forced to go after the vampire, Valerious, in a quest to rescue Eli and save the tenuous alliance between humans and vampires. Can she do all that and avoid the very obvious charms of Kristain at the same time?

J. Morgan's stories are always the perfect antidote when I need to laugh. His sense of humor permeates every single page of LOVE TO STAKE ANOTHER DAY as he offers the perfect balance of snarky punch lines, fast paced action, and romance. Pop culture references are a trademark of his and all I will hint at is that the Don Knotts scene is one that I still giggle about even now while writing this review. I can't rave enough about his stories!

Lysette may be my favorite heroine yet of J. Morgan's stories. Her perspective on Savannah is hysterical as hasn't everyone had an in-law who just annoys the heck out of them but they tolerate because, well, that is what families do? Readers familiar with the first book in the Love Bites series, LOVE AT FIRST STAKE, will especially appreciate this new look at Savannah, as she was the heroine of that book. However, LOVE TO STAKE ANOTHER DAY is easily read as a stand alone.

J. Morgan does a great job at capturing the quirky nuances of families while keeping things humorous. The Love Bites series is one that has only gotten even better with this second book in the series and my only disappointment is that I have to wait on the third installment to be released. Highly recommended!
