Brides Bay Resort Book #3
4 Stars! ~ Talia and Cade are both jurors on a very high profile mob trial. The defendant is accused of having his wife murdered. The jury is being tampered with, there's a mole feeding information to the crime family. When the closing statements are made, the judge sequesters the jury to Bride's Bay Resort to deliberate their verdict in complete privacy.
Talia's the only woman on the jury, and she runs a shelter for abused women. The crime family is sure she's one of the juror's leaning to a guilty verdict. Now the mole has to convince her to change her mind, or the mob will change it for her. Cade fears for Talia's safety when strange and dangerous accidents seem to happen around her. He's needs to stay close to her to protect her, but who's going to protect him from her potent charms.
This was a very good read. Ms. Stewardson had a lovely twist to the ending, that came mostly as a surprise. Cade and Talia's love story is a sweet one.
