5.0 out of 5 stars @cafe... more than just coffee
I found the book sitting in my sister's room, and was bored, so I picked it up. Now I'm hooked and I am trying to get the other 3 books in the series. The book deals with 6 kids who all work at a Cyber Cafe, one of the 6 is the owner. They each have responsibilities, giving it that, independant kids kind of feel, that made the "Babysitter's Club" so popular. (Except that...

(Except that 2 of the kids are always ditching work...) Each character also has their own little story, Natalie is trying to get a guy to notice her, Tanya is secretly involved with the guy that Natalie wants, but can't hurt Natalie because they're friends. Sam's mother is depressed and his father is in jail, Blue and Jason are always ditching, and are very close friends, yet hate the boyfriend/girlfriend thing (although they just about are...) Dylan, has control issues, plus he's falling in love with Natalie. The only problem is they all swore not to date each other because it interferes with their work...

5.0 out of 5 stars Love Bytes Review, March 20, 2000
This review is from: Love Bytes (Cafe, No. 1) (Paperback)
Love Bytes was a great book! I really liked it because I felt like I had a lot of things in common with the characters. This book would also make a really good movie for teenagers to watch. It has a lot of conflict between teenagers but there is also lots of friendship between them. There is also things that teenagers go through on a daily basis. I would definitely recomend this book specially to a teenager. Or someone that likes to read but specially a teenager because a teenager is more likely to feel connected to this book in one way or another.

5.0 out of 5 stars THIS BOOK ROCKED!, December 3, 1998
By
This review is from: Love Bytes (Cafe, No. 1) (Paperback)
This book is one that deals with realistic teen issues. I could especially relate with Natalie, I've been in a (sort of) similar situation in the past. I can't wait to read the next books! Elizabeth Craft has created a believable cast of characters who can me and a lot of other teens can assimilate with. Ms. Craft has done a wonderful job so far! Keep the great books coming!!!

Ms. Craft focuses very well on a teen's very complicated life dealing with the opposite sex. She has done a very excellent job and I hope she continues to publish some very excellent reading material.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic romantic page-turner, October 22, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: Love Bytes (Cafe, No. 1) (Paperback)
I loved this well-crafted, intricately weaved nail-biter of a romance. Natalie is innocently sexy; Tanya is delightfully pesky; and Blue is a pensive little nymphet. Will Dylan and Natalie stay together? I can't wait to read the rest of the series. Great job, Liz!

By A Customer
This review is from: Love Bytes (Cafe, No. 1) (Paperback)
This book is perfect for any one that loves to laugh and have a little fun. All the problems seem very real and add a great twist to the book. I also love how all the characters seem so different but click so well. I think Elizabeth Craft knows exactly how teens feel! Rock on Elizabeth!!!
