SAMMI--all time favorite...., May 18, 2001

It was a couple of years ago when I started listening to Sammi. I even remember the song that got me started..."song for the dead"...every time I listen to it, I am deeply moved. Not many artists have the ability to do that.
As for her more recent songs, they just get better. She has developed a style that is truly unique to her. You'll listen to HER; the music and lyrics are secondary. This album is a good start to get addicted. It is one of my personal favorite. For months it was in my CD player; I'm never sick of it. The ballads are peaceful....Sammi (or perhaps her singing)is quite angelic in this album. BTW-Why are the tracks labeled japanese....they are in cantonese.
Her following albums "Ladies First" and "Love is" are worth adding to your collection.
