5.0 out of 5 stars good read
I really enjoyed reading this book but I do wish Shelby wasn't so quick to go back to him. And him saying 'little girl' almost everytime he spoke to her was annoying.. Besides that I loved it.

3.0 out of 5 stars Frustrating!
Ok don't get me wrong, I thoroughly enjoy Diana Palmer novels. I've read too many romance novels for my own good. But there's an undertone in this novel that I don't care for. The scene with King and Shelby in the library just bothered me. He can be such a chauvinistic pig. It's not just this novel. It's a pattern I see in some Palmer novels. The man is always so over...

The scene with King and Shelby in the library just bothered me. He can be such a chauvinistic pig. It's not just this novel. It's a pattern I see in some Palmer novels. The man is always so over dominating and it's frustrating. I don't like how Palmer makes the man overpower and scare the woman into intimacy. There's no emotion, no depth into the man. He really is a brute. I guess I just feel like the woman should have a little more pride. Other then that, the book's fantastic. There is a lot of sensual tension and emotion, good story line. Just a little frustrating.

4.0 out of 5 stars To Love and Cherish, August 3, 2010

I love Diana Palmer. All her books are a must read. This was not one her best, but definitely a great read. Kingston is typical hard nosed alpha male and Shelby is a great match with her lonely upbringing. Great supporting characters.
