I bought these for my wife and she loves them.... she watches them over and over.... and over again.... each Volume contains three DVD disk....

Volume 1 has the first 3 movies, Love Comes Softly, Love's Enduring Promise, and Love's Long Journey
Volume 2 has the last 3 movies, Love's Abiding Joy, Love's Unending Legacy, and Love's Unfolding Dream.

These are good family movies and just proves too that Hollywood doesn't need to have any sex or violence to make a very good five star movie.... Thank you Michael Landon Jr. for such a good job..... well done...

These are great DVDs. I love the movies and love the books even more. I recommend them to everyone. They are great movies to watch with your families. The only complaint I have is Amazon has advertized them as a 4 disc set and there are only 3 in this set. I just thought you should know what you are buying. But even with only 3 movies it is still an awesome deal.

I am a guy and enjoyed them...I love chicks therefore I like 'chick' flicks :) Good family viewing and written by Canadian author Janette Oke.

I found the series quite thought provoking and at the same time entertaining . The colour ; sound and presentation of top quality

I stumbled on this movie series on the Hallmark Channel one Sunday afternoon when they were showing several episodes back to back. I'm always lamenting how difficult it is to find good wholesome movies for our family to watch and knew immediately this was a series to invest in. I ordered both Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 (all six DVDs) and had them a week or so later. Over the course of three weekends, my girls (ages 7, 10 and 15) and I watched all six together. They would have watched all nine hours in a row if I'd let them -- that's how much they liked them. They enjoyed the story lines, but they also were interested to see what it was like to live back in the 1800s. And of course the emphasis on depending on God and trusting Him are a great lesson for all of us in this modern day of self-reliance. I HIGHLY recommend this series to anyone -- both adults and kids. Your kids will watch them over and over.

I originally bought a seperate dvd in a discount store "Love takes Wing" which I just loved. In watching this, I discovered that there is a whole series of these and Michael Landon's son produced them. Because of this I searched Amazon and found the series. I purchased them separately in volume 1 and later volume 2 as it was cheaper to purchase that way than the whole set together. Each volumn has 3 movies at 13.99 for volume 1 and 13.99 for volume II whereas the complete set of 6 movies together is 70.00. Anyhow, wonderful movies, family entertaining, religious context which is sometimes forgotten in today's world. UPLifting and great story content. I Watch these over at times among othere in my 2000 movie collection.

Have purchased 7 DVDs of the 8 volumes in the Love Comes Softly series. Excellent series: clean, wholesome stories with Christian morals. LOVE THESE STORIES. Highly recommend to all. Waiting on the 8th volume to be released on DVD for purchase. All DVDs were good quality and shipped timely. Wish all 8 could have been in a compact set rather than individual DVDs. But I have mine! As always with Amazon.com, I had good service in a timely manner. Will continue to shop with them. Better prices!

This is a wonderful family video series. I love to watch them time and time again.

This volume continues with strong themes of positive messages with interesting story lines. Refreshing movies compared to many box office "hits" today.

I want to talk about "Love Comes Softly" that I just saw its.
This is my first review that I wanna write for.
Because after I saw this warming heart movies, its very affeced to my mind.
The story was very beautiful, also with the sceneric view that appeared on the movies.

Most of all, I wanna to say was "Love can grow up by close-up and it comes softly. You don't know its until it's covered all of your heart"
This could described for this movies.

I must goto see "Love's Enduring Promise" and the next in this series.
