Soular has a unique sound. It isn't what I would normally like, but the music is catchy. I've had many of these songs stuck in my head for weeks. It is rock n' roll with a pop indie sound, I think. Overall, a good listen. I don't have to be concerned that my children will be singing "crazy" lyrics. That's a plus.

Marsh (before going on tour) did the worship at my church in Albuquerque. He's a fantastic musician. Their style is reminiscent of Radiohead and Muse, two of my favorite bands. I'm a huge fan because it's great music, not just because I know Marsh (even though he doesn't know me.)

Shockingly good., September 30, 2007

Saw these guys live at Molly Malone's in LA. Was there to see another band, but stuck around to hear Soular. Was literally blown away. Picked up the CD and haven't stopped listening to it since. If you're into Radiohead, Coldplay or even Muse, than this band shouldn't disappoint. Really, really good.
