Baby, Relax, sit back and chill.......,

After hearing Ruff Endz' 1st single, "No More", I didn't know what to expect. On the CD single, there were snippets for three other songs which also sounded good, so I decided to take a chance on "Love Crimes". After 2 quality listens, I can now say that I am glad that I bought this CD. When some music fans listen to a certain type of music they have different reasons for it. I like uptempo songs but my main reason for listening to r&b is the slow jams. This is the main reason why I like Ruff Endz' debut CD so much. First of all, although I give this CD 5 stars, there is nothing groundbreaking on this CD. Most or all of the topics have been covered by all other r&b artists, but in my opinion, it's all about presentation. "No More" is still the stand out track on the CD. Ruff Endz also include a Cuban Linx 2000 (Remix) of "No More" w/Ghostface Killah & Raekwon. This is also a tight song. Other stand out tracks include the Nokio from Dru Hill produced, "Please Don't Forget About Me", "Love Crimes", "I Apologize", "Where Does Love Go From Here" and "I'm Not Sayin' That, I'm Feeling That". This is an excellent debut CD by the group from Baltimore. I recommend this CD to anyone that likes current r&b slow jams like I do. This CD should satisfy anyone's r&b taste.

Smooth Beginning for Ruff Endz,

This duo for now can be dubbed a poor man's K-Ci and JoJo. "Love Crimes" is overflowing with a series of soulful ballads composed of lovers lost, lovers cheating, and hmmm....what else? Being in love (can't have the chicken before the egg). Hence, the album name "Love Crimes". The CD begins with the familiar hit, "No More" that has been getting a good deal of airplay on the radio. If you're looking for more dance tracks after that, forget it....oh wait, my bad, there is the "No More" remix that they cleverly entitled "Cuban Linx 2000"....as a friend of mine would say, "Riiiiiite". Actually, there is another uptempo track called "Don't Forget About Me" (track #4) which has a Sisqo-ish vibe to it... The rest of the CD is a Costco box full of ballads which is not necessarily a bad thing. With slow joints like "I'm Feelin' That" (track #7) and"I Apologize" (#8), Ruff Endz scores big on the smooth R&B tip. The rest of the album is pretty much a retaliation at all the female R&B men bashing by focusing on the women's equally potent ability to cheat which gets a little too repitive. Despite that, however, I'd say Ruff Endz's effort scores a fairly solid debut......

One of the best albums ever!but don't get what they deserve?,

This is truly one of the best albums I've heard in a long time from two brothers. Songs like Where does love go from here, please don't forget about me, im not just saying that im feelin that are just sensational. Too bad the freakin radio doesn't think so, now a days the media, radio, and "award shows" seem to focus on the "most played on the radio" songs for awards. This really ticks me off because some of these artists like Ruff Endz really deserve to be in the spot light. Well, if your'e lookin for a good rnb album go out and buy this one.
