The French Cinema may boast to be pioneer in what concerns to tell and link good stories. An affective relationship between two children will lead to a solid and passioanate feeling in which both of them will make the unthinkable to break the rules and the existence of the another one. Marion Cotillard's overwhelming performance chews the scenery from start to finish. The script seems to be borrowed from Pierre Jeunet's exquisite style. The heartbreaking scenes, the memorable sequences and the heartrending finale will remain in your affective memory for a long, long time. Will you dare ? |
