THERE IS NOTHING TO EXPLAIN THE WAY I FEEL WHEN I PLAY THIS CD. BERES WAS IN BARBADOS IN THE MONTH OF MARCH AND HE PERFORMED EXCEPTIONALLY AS USUAL. I NEVER MISS A SHOW AND I HAVE ALL HIS CDS. FROM HIS WORK IT SHOWS EVERY ONE THAT YOU CAN SUCCEED IF YOU TRY. GUYS & GALS OUT THERE HEED TO THE WORDS OF HIS SONGS. DON'T JUST SING HIS SONGS BECAUSE YOU CAN, FEEL THEM, BREATHE THEM AND YOU'LL UNDERSTAND THEM. FIVE STARS ALSO FOR "A DAY IN THE LIFE" BERES. YOU HAVE DONE WELL IN YOUR CAREER. I HOPE THAT GOD WOULD BLESS AND KEEP YOU UNTIL YOU SEND YOU MANY FANS ANOTHER MASTER PIECE LIKE THOSE BEFORE.

Beres Hammond has done an incredible job once again with LOVE FROM A DISTANCE. Songs like "Sweet Lies" and "Can't Stop A Man" are relayed with such purity, clarity, and honesty that when you lay to rest at night, you have a hard time forgetting these songs. Beres is a master in relating words with emotion through music. A true master, who with proper airplay on radio stations would destroy the American popular charts. Also, parents need not worry about a "PARENTAL ADVISORY" warning on any of Bere's albums. Thanks, Rob.L.

There is no reggae artist that I can compare with Beres Hammond. Just listening to his voice alone makes listening to reggae music sensation. Love from a Distance CD is one of Hammonds greatest work. This CD is good for all lover's of life, young and old.

There is no other way to describe this CD, other than to say "Magnificent". As an avid fan of Beres, I feel that once again he has proven to everyone the extent of his talent. It is not only the voice that made this CD so wonderful, it is also the lyrics of the songs. Especially songs like "Let IT Go, Highlight Of The Day, Much Have Been Said, Sweet Lies and all of the rest. !Much Congratulations to you Beres. Keep up the Good Work!!!!

Very smooth. Beres has a way to mix R&B with reggae.

As usual the creative output both musically and creatively is truly astonishing what is more the humility of the man is awesome he is just as excellent if not better in concert than recorded, The entire album is filled with uplifting almost spiritual words of comfort advice and joy. The songs of greatest impact (open to debate by my fellow reviewers of course!) 1~3, 5, 8, 11~13 which is not to say the other songs are good as well believe me they are!

The word great is a very delicate word and should only be used in outstanding cases. Bob Marley is Great, Muhammed Ali is Great and Pelle' is the Greatest footballer ever. However when it comes down to conscious, smooth,lovers rock reggae Beres is the GREATEST and the BEST of the BEST. Believe it or not these words are coming from a teenager in an era where rap music and r&b stands out for persons in my age group . Buying any Beres Hammond CD OR CASSETTE will be on of the best investments you ever made in your life. The man is just simply the best whether you want to accept it or not and one more thing don't any of you dare say that you are his biggest fan because I AM.
