He sleeps better when he is in this swaddle.

I also love that it has a two way zipper so you can change diapers in the middle of the night without your baby's arms coming out of the swaddle.

This kept him tight but allowed for enough arm movement to keep him sleeping all night.

Our baby is a month old now, and from her first days in the hospital she's been a face-toucher. She loves having her hands up near her face and gets agitated if they're pinned down. We have a Halo swaddler and spent a lot of time trying to swaddle with blankets, too, but our little one has always struggled while we wrapped her, then fought to get her hands out-- till we got this "baby bag." It's awfully expensive, especially when it's just thick t-shirt material, but it keeps our baby's hands (and, more importantly, her nails!) from getting in the way during feedings, yet allows her to gently touch her face or suck on her hands. I feel like this has the calming benefits of swaddling but lets our baby self-soothe, too.

Runs very small. Never fit my son and the company wouldn't let me return.

Love this sleep sac! Our baby is 2.5 months old and started rolling on her side. She always breaks free of her swaddle and likes to suck on her hand. Just tried this a couple nights and she has slept 11 hrs straight with a feeding in between. I had to wake her for the feeding. She is tired but awake when we first put her in the swaddle but falls asleep really quick on her own. No rocking or holding necessary. The size does run a little small from what is recommended. Our baby is about 12lbs and 24.5 inches and the medium size is just right for her, nice and snug.

Our baby loved it when all other swaddled failed. He was able to use his hands to sooth himself while swaddled which was a huge plus. We got the medium when he was 12.5 lbs and it fit great

Really wanted to like this as our baby seemed to be much calmer when she could put her hands in her mouth to help soothe herself. But our baby was born in September and we were never able to use it alone for her to sleep in - it just couldn't stand up to cooler temperatures. We tried it once with a sleeper underneath, but it was too much work to pull her out of the swaddle and the sleeper for every overnight diaper change. For this reason I'm not sure whether its features would have worked well for her, since she never had a chance to get used to it.

I see that they make a "lite" version of the product, and really wonder why they don't make a warm one! I'd definitely give a fleece version a try, but the cotton simply isn't enough for any but summer days.

My 4 month old slept longer stretches the first night we put her in the Swaddle Up. She usually wakes up at 9:00pm for a feeding, but she didnt wake from 7:00pm-11:00pm. She loves to be swaddled, but HATES to have her arms and hands pinned down. The Swaddle Up was the solution. Her hands also get ice cold at night, but not in the Swaddle Up. She usually wakes up between 5:00-6:00am, but this morning (second time in Swaddle Up) she slept in until 9:00 am.

My only regret with is purchase is not getting two or more so I can switch them out when the first gets dirty! My little dude like to rub his head when he gets sleepy, but he isn't quite coordinated enough to not scratch his head on accident and he is a swaddle Houdini. This sleeper suit helps him learn how to have his hands move by his face, but he doesn't get the option to scratch his head (he's made his head bloody from scratches). We will definitely be upgrading to the 50/50 soon as he is now 5 months and will be ready for that next step soon.

I live in southeast Texas so weather can change on a dime. I like that the fabric is lightweight enough for most warm nights (it can go from 68-74F in his room in one night according to his baby monitor temp), so I can let him be in just the sleep suit and diaper, or I can layer as I expect he might need. I also LOVE how stretchy the fabric is :)

Bonus- my babe looks adorable in it, like a tiny angel!

One thing to consider, that I only realized now several months after the original purchase- why not start with the 50/50? Just food for fodder.

Worth the price and better than velcro swaddles which my baby would either break free from or end up with the sleep sack velcro wings around his neck. Scary!
