A Great Collection of Songs From A Talented Artist, April 24, 2003
this is a collection of Namie Amuro's greatest hits after the release of her last greatest hits album "181920"
This album has new mixes for the tracks on this album, some tracks feature subtle changes while others are like completely new tracks.Tracks like "Say The Word" and "I have Never Seen" have been completely revamped, say the word seems even more energetic than the original and features a new mix that sounds abit more original, which sounded like some american pop track."I Have Never Seen" as well has been completely changed, the song is now very slow and dramatic unlike the energetic original. Her vocals are also very expressive in this new recording of the song.
New Vocals have all been recorded for tracks like Never End (One of Her best ballads),Think Of Me (a respectable ballad), Something 'Bout The Kiss (a wicked cool R&B track produced by Dallas Austin), Himawari (An Awesome Medium tempo track which these new vocals did justice to show the song's true beauty rather than the poor performance of this track on her "break the rules" album which just made this track annoying).
Songs like Respect The Power Of Love (A cool uplifting track), Love 2000 (A great Upbeat Track with a positive feeling), Please Smile Again (A very cool upbeat rock/pop track), No More Tears (a nice upbeat track) all sport new mixes...in other words all track mixes were tweaked to be a little better than the orig. but they aren't drastic changes like the ones for "Say the word" and "I Have never Seen".
This album also has her duet with Verbal "Lovin' It" which was one of the greatest tracks she had released in awhile. This song features an amazing vocal performance by namie that has to be experienced. This song was made for The Song+Nation Charity album. The song has an unusual but ever so interesting and cool beat. This really is the best song on this album in my opinion.
The last track is the last single released before this album..."I will".This song is a great ballad with an orchestra playing to its fullest from beginning to end, This is the ultimate ballad...honestly this her best ballad ever...her vocals shine on this track as well.
This album is a really nice collection of songs. This album truly captures her best songs from after the release of her last greatest hits to the release of this new greatest hits album.

A great collection/re-arranged CD! Highly recommended if you like JPOP. Namie's voice is fabulous and she is one of Japan's best singers.

Lovely Enhancements!!, February 17, 2003
This is a great CD! The songs are all remixed versions of the originals with the exception of "Lovin' It". Most of the songs have a new arrangement and vocals. The songs don't change much so don't expect a Ayu-mi-x.
The tracks are:
Say the Word
Respect the Power of Love
Never End
Love 2000
Please Smile Again
Think of Me
Something 'bout the kiss
Lovin' It
I have never Seen
Himawari
No more tears
I Will
Like I said, they're remixed, but still retain their original sound. This is a great CD for any Namie Amuro fan, not just because it's a single collection of some of her best songs from the past couple of albums, but because they're re-done it's very refreshing.
