I've been reading the bad reviews of this album and don't understand them. I first heard Everything U R as the title to the short-lived series Maybe It's Me on the WB, and fell in love with the song. I bought the album to get that track and found much of it to be very enjoyable. The songs that are best are the ones where she doesn't try to sound like other artists. The duet with Paul McCartney is cool. Pretty impressive for someone so young. Her website has mentioned an upcoming album for over a year, and I am eager to hear her next effort.

trust me, i dont like bubblegum pop and this is definately not that. I like this album cause it is not annoyingly catchy, it is soulful, it has great songs, i love her voice, its just all around really good. its away from your average todays pop music. i liked it so much i bought it for my friend and she plays it all the time and loves it. just give it a listen.

As many people, I discovered Lindsay Pagano with her very catchy song, "Everything U R", used for the AOL commercial. I loved it so much, I thought I'd give her cd a try, too.

I still think that the best song is "Everything U R"...however, a few other songs on her cd can compete with it...I really liked "Dreams Like This", actually, as much as "Everything U R"...in this song, Lindsay's voice is beautiful and she sings this well-written song really well. It's very catchy, although more on the slow side, but a great song. Another good song is #1 (With a Bullet), which I find many people like. It's very catchy and just awesome. A few other songs are really good too, although a few are a bit slow and some boring and just not catchy.

Overall, this is a very good cd, and if u like "Everything U R", I encourage you to give the cd a try. You won't be totally disappointed, and I guarantee you'll get hooked on some songs. In general, this is a very good first cd.

I was so excited when this CD came out I hoped to get it for Xmas. Luckily I didn't. After listening to the clips on this site I was highly dissapointed. She has a good voice in Everything U R, but besides that she sounds like a whialing baby. I can say I've heard worse, and some of the songs are great. But Love&Faith&Inspiration (the song) was a dissapointment along with Cryin Shame. That's the only song she whails in. It kinda is a Cryin Shame for someone who has such a good voice to go waste it on that song. I wouldn't highly suggest this CD, but if you like what you hear from the clips get it. Just think twice.

Lindsay Pagano clearly has a lot of ability, but she's not served well by the pathetic songwriting for this album. The tunes are OK for the most part, but the lyrics are incredibly sophomoric, the kind of thing you'd expect from a sheltered 15-year-old. If Lindsay wrote the songs, I would give this album a higher rating (because she's so young), but since they're by someone who is a professional songwriter it's inexcusable.

In the world of pop, some songs are so catchy you can get past the terrible lyrics -- on this album, those songs are Everything U R, Burning in Me, and sometimes Number 1 (With A Bullet) and Amazing High. So Bad is a fitting title, despite being by the legendary Paul McCartney. The rest of the songs are just intolerable 95% of the time.

In short, I'm glad I bought this CD cheap second hand. I'll be watching for more stuff from Lindsay Pagano in the future, because I can tell that she'll really go places if she lays off the breathy soprano (she just can't handle it), and she keeps resisting the homogenized pseudo-Soul/R&B sound that seems to afflict other young female singers. So Lindsay, find yourself a better songwriter, play to your strengths, and for heaven's sake, stop writing your liner dedications in Instant Message-speke. It just makes you look stupid.

This is a really good cd.It is not your average pop music-thats one reason I like it.To me, it seems like a mix of the 70s,80s,90s,and 2000.thats cool.She has a great voice.All the songs on this CD are nice. This is a CD that all ages of people can enjoy listening to.Don't underestemate this one.If you hear the song "Dreams like this" or several of the other songs you will probably say "Wow".She has much feeling in her music.She sounds like she will be singing her whole life like Carol King.And if you like Michael Jackson (hes so nice),then you will probably like this CD.the song "Amazing High" is a beautiful song. Buy this cd or else youll be missing something beautiful.

Luckily, I wasn't the one who bought this CD, a friend did for me. The only songs I enjoy are Romeo and Love & Faith & Inspiration. The other songs are just too slow, and some are just annoying after awhile. The CD isn't worth how much people pay for it, but Romeo is a great song. Lindsay can sing, theres no doubt, she just needs better material.

There are only two good songs on this CD, the rest is the same kind of pop music you'd expect nowadays. When will the hit the 99 cents bin?

I was surprised to see so many lukewarm reviews of this CD. I bought it last year and I still play it a lot. I think Lindsay is an incredible singer, and I would like to hear more from her. "Everything U R" is still my favorite on the album - the tune is very catchy, and I like the way the lyrics are written, very clever. I never saw the AOL commercial, but I did see the song used as the theme song for a tv show last year ("Maybe it's Me"?). "Burning in Me" is a good r&b flavored track, Lindsay really sings this one with a lot of feeling! "Amazing High" is a great song to have on late at night when the lights are low and all is quiet. My other faves are "Cryin' Shame" and "Romeo", but I like all the songs.

I loved Everything U R, so I just had to buy Love&Faith&Inspiration, and I was not disappointed by it, but it's not the best CD either.
Highlights of the CD:

*Dreams Like This ~ It's slower, and I think Lindsay sounds amazing! I love the chorus and the bridge, and it's very pretty catchy.
*Amazing High ~ In the first 10 seconds of the song, Lindsay sounds kind of young and nasily, but it gets really good really fast. My favorite on the CD!
*Romeo ~ I dont know HOW to describe this song! I really like it though. I think it's really cool, edgier than a lot of her songs, and the chorus is great!
*Everything U R ~ Of course, everyone loves this song, and it is totally catchy. I love the first line "Love can be complicated, too often mistranslated..."

I reccommend buying this CD, 'cause it's really good, but if you have only heard the song "Everything U R" you might just wanna buy the single. I think Love&Faith&Inspiration is a really good debut CD, and I hope Lindsay puts out another CD soon!
