Wonderful adventure, February 2, 2010
This review is from: Love Finds You in Revenge, Ohio (Paperback)
Love Finds You in Revenge, Ohio was the 5th I've read in the series, and I think it is wonderful!! Lisa Harris not only puts romance and the complexities of family relationships in this story, but she also effortlessly weaves a suspense-filled mystery! I'd be reading at night, and couldn't put the book down because some new surprising event took place. This is not a cookie-cutter book! It has twists and turns you don't see coming! This is definitely a great read and I am looking forward to reading more from this exciting author!

A gritty, fast-spaced romance, laced with masterfully written mystery, July 24, 2011
This review is from: Love Finds You in Revenge, Ohio (Paperback)
This mid-western story was perfectly penned, and sprinkled with dazzling wild west attributes. The Morgans have suffered numerous emotional turmoils, along with falling victim to greed and violence. The main character and heroine, Catherine, is to be admired for her unshakable strength, courage, and selflessness; though her stubbornness, bitterness, and pride is just about enough to drive someone nuts. The characters, setting, and plot were all constructed brillantly. This suspenseful novel left me with a bundle of surprises as well. Very edgy, yet well polished.
The book teaches an enormous lesson: FORGIVNESS. One could be overcome with the obsession of "sweet revenge", in order to seek justice. Or one could habor self-deteriorating bitterness out of fear, anger, and past pain. Whatever the cause, unforgiveness is a sharp stumbling block to many believers of Christ. But remember what the Lord declares "Vengeance is Mine!"
In conclusion, the story was very entertaining. *A small nag- some points were repetitive at times, though I understand that the author was trying to create depth the in charater's woes and emphasize the reasons for their current circumstance. (That didn't deserve a star off. This book was terrific!)

Good Book, January 1, 2011
I enjoyed this book. It was a great story interweaving suspense and romance. I did feel that the main character did a lot of whining, which did start to grate on my nerves towards the end...but the overall story was very good.
